The Netherlands has very strict standards that must be met for railway safety. Controls on this are mainly carried out from ‘measurement trains’; trains equipped with special instruments that frequently travel on the tracks in different regions. Last week, the measurement train operated on the Zwijndrecht-IJsselmonde route (connecting Dordrecht/Zee-Zevenaar) and the Harbor Rail Line (Barendrecht-Maasvlakte). The measurement did not reveal any particularities or abnormalities.
