The preparations for cable works have started to install line interrupters. These line interrupters and earthing switches are made remotely controllable, reducing the time required for de-energizing and earthing the overhead line group, thus not affecting the net working time. These line interrupters are essential for achieving maintenance schedules during the day and, consequently, maintaining the infrastructure of Zee-Zevenaar at a specified level.
This week, overhead line portals will be installed at Maasvlakte. In week 2, the line interrupters will be installed during a regular train-free period.
