Two work packages have been defined, of which the first work package (grinding and welding) has been completed. The initial tasks of work package 2 were successfully carried out by the contractor during the weekend of week 37. The next Technical Validation Process (TVP) is scheduled for week 47. The to be performed activities include reinforcing the two bolt connections in the main girders and waterproofing this structure.
Once the tasks are completed, the restrictions on the bridge will be lifted. In 2024, the final non-critical activities for this project will be carried out. These activities involve installing inspection boards on the outside at the level of the main girder west, near the manholes. The schedule for these activities will be announced at a later date.
